I am happy to say that I have started my second squidoo lens.  It is on Homeschooling.

Another cool website I have found myself at alot is squidoo.  I made my first lens.  It is on writing tooth fairy letters for your kids.  I am still adding to it but let me know what you all think. 

I recently signed up for atwitter account.  I must say that i was surprised how fun it is.  You can find me at my twitter page.  I have found it quite useful too.  There are a couple things that I really like about twitter:

1.  It is fun to see what others are doing and share interests. 
2. It makes me feel a bit accountable and gives me some motivation to get the tasks I twitter about completed.
3. It is easy.
4. There is a lot to learn from others and twitter is a fun way to share and learn.

 www.ToothFairyCity.com is a fun website that I started when my sons started losing their teeth.   This website has free tooth fairy printable letters for parents to print and put under their child’s pillow to add some magic to the tooth fairy visit. 

This website went through many transformations over the past years.  I think I finally found the format and look that I am happy with.  I really love this website and plan on keeping it for a long time.

Well, after a couple of hectic weeks dealing with family chaos, I was able to spend some time working on one of my BANS sites.  The site is www.laptoplarry.com .  This niche website is dealing with laptops.  I am sure that was obvious.  As always the Build a Niche Software was super easy to install.  My son’s favorite color is green and since he was “helping” me design this site we made it green.  Skip on over to www.laptoplarry.com and let me know what you think. I used the template included (template 3 both) and simply added a banner I made on paint.net software and changed the colors used in the css file. 

I have purchased 2 more domain names to use with the BANS program.  I will be working on those over the next few days then I am going to focus in on marketing.  I will keep you all posted on the results.  So far I have had a few ebay commission sales.  The only marketing I have done so far was a link on one of my other sites. 

My plans for this site are to add some informational articles regarding laptop, finding a laptop and what to look for when busying a laptop.  I do plan on keeping this site but may decide to sell it.  We will see.  I do think this one may be a keeper though. 

Well off for now.  Time to get the kids off to school.

There are so many hosting options for you to choose from.  When I started my first website I was so confused about everything.  I did start with a free hosting service.  There are pros and cons regarding free hosting service.  Lets go over a few.

Pros:

• Free services are, well, FREE.  What can be better than that when you are new and unsure about what you are doing.  If you are interested in starting a website and want to get a taste of it first then a free service  is probably your best option.  Open an account and give it a whirl.
• Most of the free services have handy dandy website builders to make it easy to learn on and build professional looking sites.
• If you do not have html knowledge the website builders make it easy to change your website in an intant with the click of a mouse.
• FREE!  Especially great when you are on a low budget.

Cons:

• There are some limitations with the free services.
• There is usually some sort of advertising on your website hosted with a free service.
• Sometimes with a free service visitors may not take your site as seriously.

Like I stated previously, I started out with a free service.  I had no clue about creating websites, hosting, etc.  It was a nice place to start experimenting with your website and how hosting works.
